How Warren connects to our office

Warren borders Sterling Heights to the south, and 14 Mile Road is the line between the two cities. Our office sits on the next mile road north, 15 Mile, so for many Warren households the trip is a straight drive up a road you already use.

  • Schoenherr Road runs north out of Warren into Sterling Heights and meets 15 Mile Road right by our office. If you live on the east side of Warren, this is usually the simplest route.
  • Mound Road and Van Dyke (M-53) also continue north from Warren into Sterling Heights. From either one, turn east on 15 Mile and continue to Schoenherr.

Your map app will give you the best route for the time of day. Parking and arrival details are on our visit page.

If you ride the bus, SMART lists a stop at 15 Mile and Schoenherr served by its Schoenherr route and its 15 Mile Crosstown route. Check SMART for current routes and schedules before you travel.

What you can come in for

  • Eye exams. A comprehensive eye exam with Dr. Yousif Ghaleb, O.D., checks how clearly you see and the health of your eyes, and ends with time for your questions.
  • Contact lenses. A contact lens exam and fitting is separate from a glasses exam, because the doctor checks how a lens fits on your eye.
  • Children’s eye exams. Our children’s eye exam page explains how a visit works for kids and what a parent or guardian should expect.
  • Red, dry or irritated eyes. Medical eye care visits are for eye problems, and your medical insurance may apply instead of your vision plan.
  • Glasses from your current prescription. If you already have an eye doctor in Warren and a current prescription, you can bring your prescription and choose frames here.
  • Frames and sunglasses. See the brands we carry, then try frames on with an optician in the boutique.

For insurance, our insurance page lists plans as participation is confirmed.
